Travel to Champaign-Urbana
Car: On Friday, metered parking is available on the streets around the Harding Band Building and in the Graduate Library across Sixth Street from Harding using the Mobile Meter payment service. (Downloading the app and setting up an account can take a few minutes, so you may prefer to do so prior to your arrival.) The meters no longer accept coins. On Saturday, metered street parking and metered parking in the Graduate Library lot across Sixth Street from Harding is free.
Bus/Train/Air: Illinois Terminal in downtown Champaign is the arrival/departure location for Amtrak, Burlington Trailways, Peoria Charter, Greyhound, and our local MTD. Willard Airport (CMI) at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, is the closest airport, and offers flights through American Airlines. The Central Illinois Regional Airport (BMI) is the next nearest airport, about an hour’s drive from Champaign, if you plan to rent a car, and offers flights through Allegiant, American Airlines, Delta, and Frontier.
