Hindsley Symphonic Band

The UI Hindsley Symphonic Band consists of approximately 70 musicians and is audition-equivalent to the UI Harding Symphonic Band.  In traditional symphonic band format, this ensemble is a set instrumentation and performs large ensemble works, quality repertoire on various levels, historic transcriptions, and focuses on both experience and proficiency development for student members. Concerts for the Hindsley Symphonic Band are on campus at a variety of venues and usually in tandem with the Harding Symphonic Band.  The ensemble is open to both music majors and non-majors by audition.
