Harding Symphonic Band

The University of Illinois Harding Symphonic Band consists of approximately 70 musicians and is audition-equivalent to the Hindsley Symphonic Band.  In traditional symphonic band format, this ensemble performs large ensemble works, quality repertoire on various levels, historic transcriptions, and focuses on both experience and proficiency development for student members. Concerts for the Harding Symphonic Band are on campus at the Krannert Center for Performing Arts and usually in tandem with the Hindsley Symphonic Band.  The ensemble is open to both music majors and non-majors by audition.
